As a young, relatively inexperienced (in real estate) couple Heidi did an amazing job walking us through our first home purchase. She turned what could have been a stressful time for us into an exciting experience. She made sure we understood every step of the home-buying process while securing us a great deal on a phenomenal property. In what can be a trying time for all of us while dealing with this pandemic, Heidi was a consummate professional and made sure our families needs and safety came first. The only complaint I have is that I'm constantly worried the police are going to come knocking to arrest us for the steal of a deal we got on our property! We would recommend Heidi to absolutely anyone; friends, family, complete strangers, it doesn't matter. She will go above and beyond to make sure your real estate needs are met.

And I had lots of questions, because I knew nothing about real estate. She and Joanna made it very easy. They sold the property very quickly, and it was over before I knew it. I met Joanna first via phone 6 months ago when retiring and exploring moving to Vancouver Island from the lower mainland. I had been using the Pemberton website to watch the market in the Greater Victoria area and Joanna had called to offer her services to assist me with questions regarding neighbourhoods, amenities offered and also set up a custom search to meet my all my needs and wants in a new home. She applied no pressure which was very important to me but kindly offered to have us come for a visit and chauffeur us around the neighbourhoods to see which areas resonated with us. She prepped ahead of our visit sending me suggested listings she would arrange us to view if we approved. In all we were out for an entire afternoon, saw 7 homes, really got a feel for where we wanted to be based on Joanna’s local knowledge coupled with what she knew was important to us. Over the next couple of months once our home sold there were a number of calls and visits, and we only loved one home which had an accepted offer. Joanna used her negotiating skills and we were able to enter into a contract to build almost the same home on another lot but with a few changes to make it exactly what we wanted. Through it all she was the consummate professional but most of all her caring, warmth and humour shone through making this planning for the future such a wonderful experience. I now consider her a friend of the family and highly recommend her.

She said ‘ we should not rush to buy a home. You should pick the one which you like’. Other realtors were not like that at all. Because of my husband’s work, she could take an appointment for in the late afternoon to look at the house. And she was so fast to contact to the other agency and we could do viewing the day 1 or 2 on the market all the time. And when we found a forever home, I was really not sure because of too many viewing , and buying a house is stressful but I didn’t have any complains. And she told me that ‘ you like it! ‘ she is very supportive as a realtor and human. We love our forever home. Unfortunately seller was not nice so Joanna was very supportive with us.
